everytime i see people talking like this it just makes me shake my head

maybe because i just dont give a shit at all and rather just enjoy a game???????

I like to think there’s a difference between what I do and what this blog does.

At the end of the day, video games come down to money. There are problematic elements to every video game, just as there are to every book and movie and TV show. But does that totally negate a game’s worth? Of course not.

This blog seems so quick to condemn absolutely everything about, say, Persona. It’s like, seriously? If you can’t see the good as well as the bad, you’re not doing it right.

So I just had a quick scroll through the blog in question.

Her issue isn’t that she’s transgendered, it’s that her interests lie in areas that are often gender-defined by society as masculine, so she thinks that in order to persue them she has to be a man… that’s why it’s actually refreshing to see her express her femininity more and more as her story progresses. It’s a societal gender-roles issue, not a transgender one.

edit: i just sent them an ask about this SO LETS SEE HOW THAT GOES i do not expect them to respond favourably though

In as perfect condition as you’re gonna get, complete with all the parts (hands, base, sword etc) - Removed from the box to be signed and placed straight back in.

Box is in decent condition too, if you like to keep things boxed.

I have heard good stuff about Tactics Ogre! I was gonna try it when it came out but I just couldn’t get over that tagline lmao

Oh man I love Valkyria Chronicles too, I just keep forgetting I have it so I’ve still not finished it
Once I do, I’m totally getting VC2 for my psp too aaaaa

But yeah Tactics Ogre is pretty neat, I like that you level up classes rather than individual characters (like in VC!), so if I ever do lose one of my dudes it wont be such a blow.

Also my team is mostly women, I have a warrior I named Beatrix, a valkyrie I named Cornelia, and an enchantress I named Maeberry because just Mae seemed too plain. All my other characters are recruits the game offers you for free :3

Like, gameplay is almost identical.
That’s a good thing, I love FFT.

It’s just as political too, but has the extra-awesome feature of multiple story routes, which gives much greater incentive to multiple playthroughs.

I could tell straight away that Vyse was gonna turn against me though, talk about thinly veiled animosity.

I’ve just hit Chapter II, looking forwards to more uphill battles that take upwards of half an hour!
