hey, protip: if you have a problem with my attitude, don’t take it out on my friend’s contest entry

I’m the dickhole who objectively compared the standards of artistic quality of the other entries, so your beef is with me alone. My ask is always open and anon is always on, so please direct any complaints about my horrid judgemental nature directly to my inbox.

This might come as a shock to some people, but it is a design competition, not a popularity contest.

Speaking of which, Iggie’s amazing entry is now in second place to something which I can only describe as “Clip-Art-esque with a touch of excessive burn/dodge and some very uninspired typography slapped underneath” *

Seriously go look and then try and tell me with a straight face that that is even one of the best three designs… ~~I don’t even think it’s in the top five??~~

Once again, my friend is an incredibly sweet girl and an extremely talented artist who deserves to win, so please VOTE FOR IGGIE!

So here’s the story,
I entered this competition because I’m a little bit of an egotistic assbutt at times (in case you hadn’t noticed ha ha…), and decided to make something really cool to challenge the current entries which no offence intended I just didn’t think were fantastic enough to win.
Of course, that didn’t work and as expected I am a clear 10 points behind the top two entries.

One of those entries is my best friend and excruciatingly talented artist Iggie.

Now, this is really selfish of me but Iggie and one other entry are currently tied.
If that other entry wins, Iggie will probably take it super gracefully because she is a wonderful angelic sweet human being like that.
I however, will be really butthurt, because not only am I definitely not going to win, and my best friend will have not won either, but because my best friend will have lost to someone who just isn’t as good an artist and let me tell you, Iggie is a really incredible artist who deserves so much more hype than she gets.

Anyway, even if you hate me and find my opinions abrasive and idk elitist or something (I prefer objective, but okay), Iggie deserves your vote.

Iggie deserves to win.
