I think it’s time to admit that I actually really need a new Sheryl wig.

I’ve had mine since ‘09 and it’s had a lotttt of use, but after AmeCon it’s just so tangled and frizzy I don’t know if I can save it this time.

In the meanwhile I’m going to instead work on her prison outfit and maybe the white military one, since I have a blonde base & long ponytail set I can add some pink to, then get a new main wig in a few months when hopefully most of our money problems will be sorted.

Yeaahhhh, that feels like a good plan.

Now I need to steal some of the wefts from this ponytail to put in the base at the front. Okay brb scissors, I’ll show my results if I’m successful.

Yep, I’m still working on this! I hope I can make it really really pretty, with a couple of pyreflies floating about or something…

I wanted to get a picture of my Cure Marine makeup test but a combination of too much light and poor webcam quality means you just get me being moe in a wig.

9. Tell us your favored makeup brand/technique.

Ahahaha, this is like this only one that I don’t really have an answer for! Hmm… well, for characters with weird coloured eyebrows I usually apply my foundation on the eyebrow to lighten it, then colour it with an eyebrow pencil in the right colour. That’s the only reason why I have bright pink and blue eyeliners. Also to make my eyes pop I borrowed a few gyaru tips, the obvious stuff like white eyeliner on the bottom waterline… but I’m shockingly bad at applying fake lashes so I never use them, I just rely on my trusty telescopic mascara.
I ended up writing a lot huh.

This isn’t the best progress picture, but it gives a good idea of how far I am with it… I think another 3 or 4 days of hard work and it’ll be done!

I’ve been working on my Northern Cross Sheryl costume!

I’ve used interfacing for the first time everrrrr and the vest is looking pretty baller for it.

I also made the shorts, they only took me about an hour :D They do still need the little white crosses and red straps though.

Oh and yesterday I was making the shoes but I ran out of hotglue so uhhhh guess they’re on hold ‘til I can get some more.

It’s coming together pretty well so far, though I do need to lose my little bit of belly podge to really do it justice!

So, I just bought a pair of these in ~random colour~ to paint red for Hamuko :)

Only they were less than £4 INCLUDING shipping, from somewhere in China.

So they’re probably shitty knock-offs! But I aint care, as long as they LOOK right (and hopefully dont arrive in blue….), they’ll suit their purpose!

If they arrive in any dark colour it’s gonna be a bitch painting them….
