Even though the simplest idiot could’ve figured out Mercury was hidden within the sporty Ayumi, he tried for Chihiro first… it was a subconscious move to spend more time with her that he couldn’t admit and keep his pride as a god who only cares about games.
Now he’s distressed because the real has caught up with him and he had to damage his first positive relationship with somebody who actually cares about him for the sake of saving the world.
Keima really took a bounding leap in my ranking of male leads with this chapter.
Those early comparisons to Lelouch that everybody made are becoming more justified, too.
Kanon just grows and grows on you until you’re forced to admit you like her.
That time has come for me, too.

The Fandom God Only Rants About

I hate to be the one to say it but The World God Only Knows fandom has become incredibly dumb since the anime hit.
Now it’s full of argumentative little girls who discovered it on crunchyroll (CRUNCHYROLL OF ALL PLACES) and blistered through the manga so fast they missed anything of importance.
And now they all just argue over which girl ‘deserves’ Keima the most…
I mean holy shit, none of them deserve Keima, he’s a selfish otaku who is only charming them into loving him because the contract is really inconvenient to his dream life of 24/7 gaming. I mean, it’s entertaining ‘cause he does some really badass stuff… and yes he’s becoming less and less intolerant of ‘the Real’ but gosh, he’s still an ass.
And right now there’s a huge Ayumi vs Chihiro argument going on and OH MY GOD IT IS LIKE FINAL FANTASY VII’S AERIS VS TIFA FANWAR
WHY CAN YOU NOT JUST LIKE THEM BOTH, THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS.
I mean come on is it not obvious that Haqua is his True End? ha HA.
